The indepth experience of livepr consultants has included working closely with international political organisations, national and local government departments, and a broad range of political bodies.

Some examples:

We have been the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) public relations representatives in the United Kingdom since 2000.

At the start of 2006 we were also contracted be the FCEDA’s overall UK marketing and inward investment representatives.

Our work has involved:

  • Identifying UK companies interested in expanding into the US market
  • Meeting company managements explaining the benefits of locating in the County
  • Writing and distributing press releases and feature articles, and arranging media interviews.
  • Arranging receptions for up to 200 senior business and government representatives from around the United Kingdom and the United States
  • Co-ordinating business seminars
  • Liaising closely with business organisations around the UK, as well as UK Government departments
  • Developing and maintaining close links with American Embassy officials

For the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, livepr has handled a wide range of requirements. Just two are:

SARS – Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome was a crisis that struck much of the Far East, including Hong Kong.

Our role was to ensure that the situation in Hong Kong, and more importantly the initiatives being devised and implemented there, were widely made known throughout the United Kingdom as a whole, and across certainly locations in Continental Europe.

Our strategy – based around keeping the media accurately informed with the most up to date information via interviews and press releases and other announcements, liaising intimately with relevant government departments, eNewsletters, designing and distributing and co-ordinating local, regional and national meetings – was deemed hugely successful.

Hong Kong in London Festival – This festival lasted a month and was spread across the capital.

Working closely with all HKETO personnel in London we helped put together and publicise a broad range of activities including a film festival, an architectural exhibition, a series of cultural performances, a business seminar, a photographic display, a gala dinner attended by the Duke or York, senior business and political representatives, and stars from the world of entertainment.

The Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit is a think-tank based at London University's Institute of Commonwealth Studies, part of the School of Advanced Study. The CPSU started work in 1999 following a feasibility study the previous year and carries out its work on the basis of project funding.

Wherever possible the Unit co-operates with partners around the Commonwealth, and other Commonwealth organisations, and sets up project advisory groups.

livepr provided ongoing PR advice during the intricate preliminary phases of drafting the concept, the design, and the actual content for a pocket hand guide to the British Constitution.
